Sustainable upholstery fabric: Chain

Chain is a sturdy yet supple fabric with a robust look. This fabric has been developed with a European weaver specialising in jacquard woven fabrics. This fabric does not need a backing because it has enough volume of its own, which is why Chain only has a coating. A coating provides extra body and makes it easy to apply to furniture. This makes Chain suitable for any type of upholstery. Both fixed, loose and padded.

Chain has a GRS certificate that gives you the assurance that the fabric actually contains recycled materials.

If you look closely at this fabric, you will see many types of yarns and colours – a combination of fine and coarse textures. In addition, this is a yarn-dyed item, this means that each yarn has been pre-dyed separately, all this results in a rich and voluminous furniture fabric.

Lively and versatile are two words that describe the fabric well. The fabric matches many different materials and is easy to combine with other fabrics from the FABRAA collection. The colour palette includes several deep colours that are currently hot and trendy.

As the fabric is coarsely woven, we recommend being careful with sharp objects, such as: buckles, belts, keys, etc. It is no problem to wash this fabric, best done at 30 degrees Celsius.
